We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute significantly to our software development efforts, with opportunities to participate in architecture decisions and daily coding activities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software systems for our automated material handling solutions.
- Develop high-performance, reliable C code for control systems.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and firmware teams to integrate software with hardware systems.
- Contribute to product planning and technical strategy.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through rigorous code reviews and best practices.
- Engage actively throughout the software development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and maintenance.
- Coordinate with the project implementation team to support successful deployments at customer sites.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong background in C
- Proven experience in developing software for embedded systems or industrial automation
- Strong understanding of real-time control systems and multi-threaded programming
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems and low-level hardware interfaces
- Expertise in software architecture principles and design patterns
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
