Job Overview

The Warehouse Associate is the engine of the operation and an integral part of the business. This role requires an understanding of fulfillment processes including picking orders, staging for processing, packing, special projects, and sorting completed orders into designated shipping boxes and pallets. This position is responsible for the daily picking, packing, and sorting of all orders in the fulfillment queue, and it is expected to meet the company’s key performance indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities and Duties

• Clock in and out of job codes as needed
• Follow the picking process to pick single-item and multi-item orders efficiently
• Follow the packing process for single-item and multi-item orders
• Sort processed orders into correct carrier bins for pickup
• Maintain clean working space, including picking aisles and packing stations
• Maintain a consistent pace in each working area
• Assist in special projects and any warehouse needs from the supervisor

Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
• Must be able to regularly use hands and fingers to handle and feel
• Must be able to walk, stand, and reach for extended periods of time/duration of shift
• Must be able to hear, see, and verbally communicate per safety measures in the warehouse
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse

Schedule

• Part-time, up to 35 hours per week
• Monday to Friday availability preferred
• Typical warehouse hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (exact schedule set based on staffing and order volume)

Pay

• $17.00 to $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
