The Director of Events is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of event planning and execution within the space of Boxwood Social Hall located in the Marietta Square. This role requires a dynamic individual with exceptional organizational skills and a strong background in hospitality, sales and outreach. The Director will collaborate with the managing partner to ensure seamless event operations, enhance guest experiences, and drive revenue through effective upselling strategies.
Duties
- Lead the planning and execution of events, ensuring all details align with client expectations and organizational standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate successful events.
- Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, audio-visual needs, and guest services.
- Create and implement marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best terms for the organization.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Train and supervise event staff to deliver exceptional customer service during events.
- Monitor event feedback and conduct post-event evaluations to improve future offerings.
