A Las Vegas-based commercial general contractor has an employment opportunity for a project engineer. A minimum of two years of experience in the construction industry is required. Tasks will include reviewing and processing contract documents, submittals, and shop drawings to verify accuracy and compliance with the Contract Documents; reviewing construction schedules and able to prepare submittal logs, identifying critical-path submittals, tracking and maintaining submittal approvals and material procurement; reviewing drawing revisions/RFI/submittal comments and coordinate changes; help coordinate project schedule with the PM team and prepare schedule updates; prepare and lead project closeout process including owner training, O&M's, as-builts, permits, etc. Familiarity with Procore; Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Project; and Sage Project Management a plus.
