We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our CPA firm. You will be responsible for supporting all CPA and accounting staff in multiple capacities. This rolls also includes heavy interaction and coordination with our clients, so a pleasant and professional demeanor is of utmost importance. The tasks assigned will be varied, and there is great potential for career growth within the company for the motivated candidate. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Effective coordination and communication with clients
- Organization, scanning, and implementation of administrative processes for tax return prep
- Preparation of correspondence with the IRS and state taxing authorities
- Assistance with monthly billing and collections
- Management of tax return and special project deadline flow
- Other special projects as assigned and as ability and knowledge grow
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Calm, pleasant and professional demeanor
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven workplace
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with basic tax forms
- Working knowledge of various computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite) with strong Microsoft Excel background preferred
- Experience using QuickBooks Online strongly preferred
- Ability to quickly learn and use various software programs
- 2-5 years experience
Salary : $24 - $30
