After School Program Coordinator
Duties:
- Supervise and engage with campers in various activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and team-building exercises
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Assist with meal times, including monitoring dietary restrictions and allergies
- Provide guidance and support to campers in resolving conflicts and promoting positive behavior
- Collaborate with other camp staff to plan and execute special events and field trips
- Maintain a clean and organized camp environment
Skills:
- Classroom management: Ability to effectively manage a group of children in a structured setting
- Early childhood education: Understanding of child development principles and experience working with young children
- First aid: Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and ability to respond to medical emergencies
- Experience with children: Previous experience working with children in a daycare, childcare, or babysitting setting
- Educate: Ability to teach and educate campers on various subjects and skills
