Description
Title: Site Coordinator
Pay Range: $14 - 15 per hour
Reports To: Unit/Area Director
Job Type: Part time
Time Commitment: Required work hours (either 7:15am-1:00pm or 12:45 pm-6:30 pm, M-F)
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Directs/manages overall daily operations of the designated site with the primary concern for programs
and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations and
membership administration.
KEY ROLES:
Leadership:

Assist in the management of single site operations with fidelity and lead while taking initiative without direct oversight

Establish site programs, activities and services that prepare youth for success and that creates a club environment that facilitates achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.

Spends a percentage of the workday working with community partners to build and establish relationships with youth.

Ensure a healthy and safe environment, ensuring facilities, equipment and supplies are maintained.

Acts professionally at all times with all staff, members and parents
Program oversight:
-
Oversee program activities in accordance with established standards and goals.
-
Planning activities that fall under three pillars of academic success, health & wellness, and good character & citizenship

Following scheduled programs and ensuring all program leaders are following

Evaluate programs on a continual basis and ensure programs/activities are in keeping with gender and cultural diversity.
Supervision:
-
Oversee proper record keeping and reporting, including activities and events conducted, breakdowns of participation figures, and any member conduct or other issues.

This includes MyClubhub attendances and reports, updating attendance and record sheets for grants or other reporting purposes

Ensure productive and effective performance of all program staff and volunteers.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

May be required to drive Club van periodically.

May be required to answer phones and perform other light administrative duties.

Exercise authority in problems relating to members and staff; utilize guidance and discipline plan.

Conducts weekly site meetings with all staff to communicate important information.

Decorates bulletin boards and updates frequently.

Keeps the desk and facility clean and tidy.

Conducts fire and tornado drills monthly.

Assume other duties as assigned
RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Maintain close contact with Club staff and supervisor to receive/provide information,
discuss issues, explain or interpret guidelines/instructions; instruct; and advise/counsel.
External: Maintain contact with parents or guardians in order to communicate about Club activities, explain or interpret Club guidelines, and address any conduct issues relative to members.May be required to communicate with or work closely with school principals and classroom instructors.
Qualifications
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience in working with children
- Knowledge of youth development
- Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems
- Ability to deal with the general public (both verbal and written)
- Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth
- Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment
- Valid State Drivers License (van drivers only)
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED:
- Hours completed towards an elementary or secondary education degree
- CPR/First Aid Certification
