What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Program Director position at Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County?
At Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate leader to join our Behavioral Health Team as the Behavioral Health Lead.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited college or university, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in behavior intervention, youth development, small group facilitation, and/or case management. Additionally, they should have at least 2 years of experience in supervision.
In this role, you will provide leadership and services in various components of our Behavioral Health Team, utilizing the principles of Trauma-Informed Care. You will work collaboratively with Club staff, partners, schools, and other social service entities to ensure all BGCLC youth and families have access to necessary care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Team to build social-emotional competence of members and staff through programming and training.
- Plan and facilitate select components of overall staff training related to social work expertise.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and significant interactions with clients.
- Create relationships with staff, youth, and families.
- Travel to Club sites to work with Club Members and staff.
