Department: Thrift Shop (2626 N. Scottsdale Rd. Scottsdale, AZ)
Total Time Commitment:
Store Hours: Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00am - 4:00pm
Length of Volunteer Shift: Typically a 3 hour shift (ex. 10am-1pm or 12:30pm-3:30pm) but hours and days for volunteering are flexible.
Under the direction of the Thrift Store Director, Thrift Shop volunteers help support the daily operations of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale Thrift Shop.

Your Role:
- Provide great Customer FIRST service to all of our Customers.
- Actively participate in keeping the Thrift Shop organized allowing us to create a memorable and fun shopping experience.
- Work as part of a great volunteer team. Possess the ability to interact and work well with others.
- Work on learning new tasks which may include Donation Processing and Donation Pricing.

Qualifications:
- A passion for the Boys & Girls Clubs vision and mission.
- A passion for our Customers and the role great Customer First Service plays in our success.
Requirements before Volunteering:
- Interview with the Manager of the program.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, reference check process and volunteer trainings.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Must be able to stand for portion of shift.
- May be asked to act in Customer Service role on sales floor and/or work in back work areas processing and pricing donations.
