Early Childhood Infant (Nido) Assistant Teacher


Bozeman Montessori is hiring for an Assistant Teacher in our Nido (4 months to 18 months) classroom at our Enterprise Blvd campus. This position will be an integral member of our classroom team assisting our Lead Guide. Montessori experience is a plus, and we also provide on-the-job training. We have classrooms serving infants (4 months to 18 months,) Pre-Primary (toddlers, 18 months to 3 years),  Primary (3 years to 6 years old) and Elementary (6 years to 9 years old) in our two campus locations.

Candidate must:

  • Provide resume, three references, any diplomas, and transcripts for highest level of education
  • Satisfy licensing requirements, including copies of immunization records
  • Be current in adult/child CPR-First Aid Training (or become so within one month of hire)
  • Be willing to become current in Montana-required health and safety trainings (within one month of hire)
  • Pass background checks as required by licensing at the time of hire
  • Physical ability to bend over, lift up to 40 pounds
  • Extended periods of time sitting on the floor

Preferred Education:

  • Current Enrollment or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant College Program
  • Experience with early childhood care and education 
  • Montessori credential in early childhood is exceptional, but not required
  • Willingness to pursue MACTE birth to three training within one year is ideal

Job Type: Full-time, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm position, 35-40 hours per week
