Position Overview
BR Heating and Cooling is seeking an experienced RNC / Commercial Lead Installer to lead and perform HVAC installations for residential new construction and commercial projects. This role requires strong installation skills, leadership ability, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform HVAC installations for RNC and commercial projects
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical plans
- Supervise installers and helpers on job sites
- Ensure all work meets code, manufacturer, and company standards
- Coordinate with office staff, builders, and inspectors
- Manage jobsite workflow to meet schedules and deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site
- Complete required job documentation and inspections
Qualifications
- 3 years of HVAC installation experience
- Experience with residential new construction and/or commercial systems
- Ability to lead a crew and train helpers
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
- Prior Lead Installer experience
- EPA Certification
- Experience with commercial systems (RTUs, split systems)
- KY journeyman's license
