Job Summary
The Facilities Technician is responsible for general maintenance, upkeep, and functionality of the campus facilities. This position is also responsible for maintaining contract building maintenance services and Facility Technician staff. This role is important for maintaining a safe, functional, and efficient building environment.
Responsibilities
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all safety standards and building codes are met and respond to security and safety issues.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and perform maintenance tasks such as painting, flooring repair, carpentry, plastering, and drywall repair to ensure buildings and equipment are maintained in good working order.
- Repairs: General building maintenance, repairs and upgrades, and ensures optional functionality of all critical building systems including but not limited to:
- All building structures
- HVAC systems
- Utility systems (water, sewer, electricity)
- Storm water systems
- Process Water Systems
Skills
- A minimum of 2 years related building maintenance experience required. Related Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school will be considered in lieu of years of experience
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
