Family Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Take Complete Medical History
- Diagnose and treat common medical problems
- Manage acute and chronic illness collaborating as needed with the M.D
- Provide patient education and preventive medicine as clinically indicated
- Follow up on tests and prescriptions being renewed
Family Nurse Practitioner Requirements:
- FNP should have a minimum of 2 years experience in Family Medicine
- License or in the process of licensing in Rhode Island
- Prefer experience with an underserved population
