As we continue to pursue new goals, it's an exciting time to join the Bragg team. We are currently hiring an Administrative Assistant in our Long Beach, CA branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Purchasing Support: Handle accounts receivables, collections, payables, and invoicing. Analyze and maintain purchasing reports using Excel, PDF, and Power BI. Assist in creating purchase requisitions and receiving goods/services in the procurement system. Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures. Code vendor invoices accurately for cost allocation.
- Administrative & Office Operations: Manage reception duties including answering calls and greeting visitors. Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical). Perform general clerical tasks such as data entry, scanning, mailing, and correspondence handling. Monitor and replenish office supplies. Ensure the front lobby and visitor areas are clean and welcoming.
- Team Support: Provide administrative support to the Corporate Purchasing Manager and assist with ad hoc tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, as well as SharePoint and MS Office Suite proficiency.
- Office Equipment: Knowledge of standard office equipment operation.
- Clerical Procedures: Understanding of clerical and administrative procedures and systems, such as filing and record keeping.
- Office Administration: Knowledge of basic office administration, accounting, and clerical principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the construction services industry.
Work Environment
- Physical Conditions: Standard office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. May occasionally require standing or moving between office areas.
