What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Trial Rater position at Brainstorm Research?
Brainstorm Research is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Clinical Trial Rater to conduct cognitive and psychiatric assessments for our neurology-focused clinical trials, including studies in Alzheimer’s disease, Mild Cognitive Impairment, and other CNS conditions. The rater will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of outcome measures.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer standardized cognitive, functional, and psychiatric rating scales (e.g., MMSE, MoCA, CDR, ADAS-Cog, RBANS)
Ensure rater certification and training is current for each assigned protocol
Conduct assessments during subject visits and document findings per GCP and protocol
Coordinate with CRCs and PI to schedule and complete assessments within required windows
Maintain accurate source documentation and assist with query resolution
Participate in site qualification and monitoring visits when rater presence is required
Maintain professional rapport with patients and caregivers
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, nursing, or related clinical field
Prior experience conducting clinical trial ratings or psychological assessments
Strong knowledge of cognitive assessments and psychiatric rating tools
Comfortable working with older adults and memory-impaired populations
Attention to detail, excellent communication, and professionalism
Spanish fluency

Schedule & Compensation:
