Responsibilities:
- Lead product development from MVP to scale, focusing on delivering real customer value.
- Prioritize and manage the product roadmap using agile methodologies and sprint planning.
- Design and execute customer discovery activities, including interviews, surveys, and feedback analysis.
- Collaborate directly with customers to identify pain points and iterate product features based on real-world needs.
- Align product development with legal, compliance, and business model requirements.
- Work cross-functionally to support go-to-market strategy, ensuring product-market fit.
- Integrate with the startup team culture, contributing positively to team dynamics and company mission.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders including executives, engineers, and external partners.
- 5 years of product ownership or management experience in startups, ideally in SaaS and AI.
- Demonstrated experience bringing a product from 0 to 1 with direct customer collaboration.
- Expertise in customer discovery methodologies (surveys, interviews, MVP testing).
- Strong understanding of business models, legal/compliance concerns, and GTM strategy.
- Based in the NYC area, with availability to work on-site in a hybrid arrangement.
- Immediate availability (within 30 days).
- Passionate about solving meaningful problems in healthcare and education.
- Strong team fit; able to integrate well with a small, fast-moving team.
- Willingness to work for a mission-driven startup with competitive base salary ($135K–$150K) and equity.
