BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking an Information Security Analyst for the Electromagnetic Spectrum Operational Engineering Services for the JEACO contract at Point Mugu Naval Base near Camarillo, CA. Salary
The typical annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 USD to $150,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information
- Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure. May respond to computer security breaches and viruses
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the job description and responsibilities
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in DevSecOps automation, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery
- Experience with virtualization machines and operating systems such as VMWare, vCenter, vSphere, and Amazon Web Service (AWS)
- Extensive knowledge of containerization using applications such as Podman, Docker, or Docker Compose
- Understand security compliance requirements such as RMF, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-190, ATO, DISA STIG, and SCAP
- Experience with the use of agile processes in the development and integration of DoD software requirements
- Proficiency in Atlassian toolset to include Confluence and JIRA
- Ability to work independently, self-starter
- Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Education:
MA/MS degree with a major in at least one of the following areas: Computer, Aerospace, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Systems, Computer Science, Physics, or Information Technology.
Standard experience/education substitutions:
Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree.
10 year’s additional work experience may be substituted for a Master’s Degree (10 10=20 years).
Clearance:
Condition of employment - must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
Citizenship:
The applicant must have US citizenship at time of application.
