We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Ivrit (Hebrew) Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year . The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop their Hebrew language skills and foster a meaningful connection to Israeli culture and traditions.
Responsibilities :
Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Ivrit lessons tailored to a range of skill levels.
Utilize immersive and interactive teaching strategies to promote language fluency.
Foster a deep appreciation for Israeli culture, history, and traditions in the classroom.
Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs and styles.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Ivrit into a cohesive learning experience.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff, embodying BMA’s core values.
Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment that supports learning and growth.
Supervise students during non-instructional times to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Hebrew Language, or a related field preferred.
Prior teaching experience with Hebrew language instruction is an asset.
Proficiency in Hebrew and knowledge of Israeli culture and traditions.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills.
A passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for language and culture.
