What will I be doing?
- Work with the hotel Leadership Team to maximize revenue & minimize expenses while providing the highest level of guest service.
- Budget, forecast & support fiscal responsibility within the operations of the department.
- Handling any guest comments or claims providing exceptional service and resolution.
- Observe performance of team members, celebrate exceptional service and encourage improvement where needed.
- Interview, select, train, supervise, evaluate, counsel, and administer progressive disciplinary procedures for Housekeeping team members when needed.
- Conduct room, storage closet & public space inspections weekly to ensure that standards are being met.
- Manage the maintenance and sanitation of all areas to ensure a safe work environment, compliance with applicable regulations and protection of the physical asset
- Perform tasks of employees supervised to facilitate service and for training purposes
- Monitor service scores via reports and guest comments for cleanliness, addresses any issues immediately and implements programs that meet or exceed brand benchmarks
- Provide services in a manner exceeding guest expectations at all times by creating the WOW experience
- Train, mentor and nurture your associates to remember the guests needs come first.
- Create the "WOW" factor at their first impression - arrival at the hotel.
- Be aware of VIP guests and communicate this to staff
- Ensure associates are in 100% compliance to uniform standards
- Works closely with maintenance department to ensure that maintenance and repairs involving guest rooms and public areas are completed timely.
- Conducts and maintains inventory of all linens, in-room amenities and cleaning supplies and order when required.
- Successfully complete other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years in Leadership experience in a Rooms Division environment – Required
- Bilingual in English & Spanish - Required
- Ability to support a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and detail oriented
- Demonstration of key attributes: Adaptability, Customer Focus, Dependability, Productivity & Quality

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $47,100 - $68,175 annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
