Job Description: Dietary Aide
Reports to: Dietary Manager and Cook
Requirements: Obtain ServeSafe Certification within 1 year of employement
- Clean kitchen, dining area, feeding room and food storage areas daily (including dishes) assuring sanitation standards and protection from possible food contamination
- Ensure that dishes, ect are readily available for the next meal.
- Performs cleaning assignments according to the established policies and utilizes the proper cleaning chemicals.
· - Assure each residents’ table and tray service has appropriate setting.
· - Help and prepare 3 snacks daily.
· - Assist in receiving food supplies and putting up stock.
· - Keeping sure that the pantry is neat and organized.
· - Help maintain the self-respect, personal dignity and physical safety of each resident.
· - Interacts appropriately and in a positive manner with residents, families, visitors and co-workers.
