Duties

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Tester to join our team. As a Tester, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and evaluations to determine the needs and capabilities of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Your role will involve working closely with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and appropriate care plans.
- Administration and scoring of psychological assessments
- Writes detailed observations of patient’s behavior
- Upkeep of testing materials
- Cleaning and sanitizing working areas
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Close attention to detail
- Neat handwriting and a good writer
- Ability to build rapport and communicate with ages 2-99
- Works well in a team
- Has drive and a completionist nature
- Speaks at a good volume
- Be accurate and able to calculate scores while testing
- Be compassionate, patient and respectful with clients

Education/Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field
Experience working with individuals aged 2 and up
Time requirement:
Depending on individual’s availability, training for the position can take one month to four months to complete. Note the training will be conducted in Metairie and once completed you will work at the Covington location.
Individual who plans on staying in the position for at least a year.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
