Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the pool facility, including overseeing cabana staff and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for members and their guests.
- Provide excellent experience to pool members, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
-Keep pool staff motivated; there are days when it's busy, hot, and challenging.
- Supervise lifeguards and other pool staff, ensuring they are properly trained and performing their duties effectively.
- Coordinate and manage pool events, such as swim meets, parties, and lessons.
- Handle transactions and maintain accurate member account charges.
- Prepare reports on pool usage, incidents, and maintenance needs.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool area.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a hospitality or recreational setting.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of shift management and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
- Experience in managing events, including planning, coordination, and execution.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and effective communication with staff and guests.
- Ability to supervise a team effectively, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed.
- Familiarity with guest services best practices to enhance the overall experience for pool patrons.
