What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper Brentwood by the Bay Assisted Living position at Brentwood Nursing Home?

Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in oral and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to project a positive and professional image
- Should know proper cleaning methods, chemical use, and dilution (we will train)
- Knowledge of fire and disaster plans for the safety of the residents (we will train)
- Knowledge of facility policies (always learning and teaching)
- Knowledge of all areas and respective duties in order to fill in for another employee
- Must be able to operate all computerized mechanical washers and dryers
- Must also possess good basic mathematical skills
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must be able to stand, pull, push, and lift at least 25 pounds, on a daily basis Must be able to stand for long periods of time to continuously clean
- Must use all body mechanics and safety precautions
- A Laundry Aide is exposed to concentrated and diluted laundry chemicals (detergents, bleach, and softener) and cleaning chemicals
Housekeeping Qualifications:
- Experience in environmental services is preferred .
- Must be able to sit, push, pull, walk and stand for prolonged periods of time during the day.
- Must be able to lift various weights of up to 25 pounds with assistance .
- Frequent talking to and listening to oral information when given both instructions and explanations is required.
- Must use proper body mechanics and safety precautions .
Salary : $24,600 - $31,100
