Principal Accountabilities and Essential Duties of the Job
Maintains grounds, irrigation system, flower beds, fountains, garden plots, fencing, hand rails, landscaping, outside drains, sidewalks, parking areas, streets, trash receptacle areas/fencing, garden shop, and conducts area beautification as needed of Brewster Grounds.
Responds to resident planting and beautification needs.
Oversees outside contractors in respect to above duties.
Maintains grounds maintenance equipment, tools and machinery in proper working condition.
Conducts minor carpentry repairs to exterior of buildings and fencing.
Cleans walkways of snow and ice and applies ice melt during winter months.
May be required to participate in emergency on call duty.
