Position: RN Unit Manager
Location: Briarcliff Manor, NY
Pay Range: $110,000 - $120,000 per year
Shift Options: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)? We are looking for a passionate and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our team and make a difference in our residents' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the leadership team to oversee and enhance day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Efficiently manage nursing coverage to ensure round-the-clock care, optimizing existing resources and minimizing overtime.
Implement progressive counseling and disciplinary actions when necessary, in alignment with facility policies.
Lead by example in delivering compassionate and skillful resident care, while also facilitating staff development through training and mentorship.
Collaborate on quality assurance initiatives, driving continuous improvement in resident care services.
Actively engage in staff recruitment and selection processes, ensuring the team is comprised of top-tier talent.
Qualifications:
Valid RN license in the State of New York.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
