Senior Assortment Planner

We are seeking a Senior Assortment Planner to drive consumer-centric product assortments that support profitable growth across the APLA region. This role is responsible for developing pre-season style-color level merchandise plans and managing in-season forecasting to optimize product lifecycle and inventory productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build bottoms-up merchandise plans that align with consumer and financial goals.
• Develop seasonal and monthly forecasts at the style-color level, including inventory, sales, and margin plans.
• Deliver assortment buys with a focus on door, flow, and size-specific execution.
• Own open-to-buy forecasts and drive alignment with finance, merchandising, and marketplace teams.
• Lead rolling forecast processes and weekly business reviews with actionable insights.
• Analyze sales and inventory trends to identify risks, opportunities, and course-correct in-season.
• Manage aging product and product lifecycle strategies to maximize demand and business performance.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including financial planning, merchandising, operations, and marketplace teams to support product and business optimization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in assortment planning, merchandise planning, or a similar analytical retail/consumer goods function.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
• Demonstrated ability to translate consumer and market insights into actionable assortment plans.
• Experience managing inventory and financial planning across multiple product categories.
• Understanding of current consumer behavior and marketplace trends within the apparel, footwear, or lifestyle industry.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in forecasting and planning tools.
• Ability to tell a compelling story using data and visual insights.
