Bridge Specialty Group is seeking an Underwriter Assistant to join our growing team in Bartlesville, OK!
Under the direct supervision of the Standard Lines Manager and/or the Office Leader the Underwriter Assistant’s task is to provide assistance to underwriters as needed. Handling tasks in a timely and efficient manner, with close attention to accuracy is imperative.

How You Will Contribute
- Acknowledging receipt of submissions
- Ensuring adequate information is available to provide a quote. If not, contact the agent and obtain what is necessary.
- Setting up files to quote can be processed as expeditiously as possible.
- Review inspections, requesting compliance with those recommendations that are reasonable. Then follow-up with the agent to make sure that they were actually completed.
- Figure additional or return premiums on endorsements, renewal quotes and policies, and process them.
- The Underwriter Assistant must understand coverage. This individual must be proficient with the underwriting guidelines and rating programs for the various companies we represent.
- Obtaining a P&C license within the first year of employment will be required.
- High School or higher education
- Higher education level with insurance experience preferred
