What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional (Group Home - Weekends) position at Bridge to Hope?
Our Residential Facility is seeking dependable, compassionate, creative, energetic, self-motivated direct caregivers with a strong work ethic that are looking to make a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.
One available Positions:
1. Residential Setting: Saturday and Sunday (Both days 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
24 Hours a week. 16 an Hour.
What you will get to do as a Direct Support Professional:
- Provide a positive and fun environment
- Assist with personal care and hygiene, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with home skills, such as preparing meals, housekeeping, and laundry
- Medication administration
- Monitor health and ensure safety
- Support positive behaviors, and de-escalate challenging ones
- Maintain records and data entries
- And more!
Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma/GED
- Must have a current LEVEL 2 Background check
- Pass a drug test
- Must have a valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Must have reliable transportation
- Driver's License NOT required, if you possess a current state-issued ID
- Impeccable attendance
- 1 year experience working with Elderly, Special Needs Adults/kids, or Medical Field
- Complete Agency required training
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
