What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Sciences Substitute Instructor position at Bridgerland Technical College?
The Substitute Instructor works for faculty when they are unavailable. - Assist students with curriculum questions and needs.
- Communicate effectively with students and staff, and maintain discipline in all school settings.
- Adapt equipment and materials to specific learning objectives set by faculty.
- Perform simple clerical tasks proficiently.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have experience as a Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Assistant, or as a professional with an animal sciences background.
- Be highly motivated, well organized, and people-oriented.
- A minimum of one year of industry experience is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
- Applicants must also be able to pass a criminal background check.
