The ideal candidate will be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA), or willing to obtain their CMA certification within 90 days of hire. This position plays a crucial role in creating the nursing staff schedule and assisting on the floor as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the nursing staff schedule, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Collaborate with department heads to address staffing needs and optimize efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of employee schedules and time-off requests.
- Assist with filling open shifts by coordinating with available staff.
- Provide support on the floor as needed, including performing CNA or CMA duties.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required.
- Willingness to obtain CMA certification within 90 days of hire if not already certified.
- Previous experience in scheduling or healthcare staffing preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
