Position Summary
Engineers at Bridgestone have a passion for innovation that drives our company forward. Our NextGen Engineering program gives you the opportunity to join the world's largest tire and rubber company at the forefront of innovation and mobility while receiving training from an industry leader in automation and robotics. Bridgestone’s NextGen Engineers start their time with us by attending the Rockwell Automation Institute for a 6-month program, receiving technical and professional training focused on automation and controls. The training program provides a blend of classroom learning, lab work, field assignments, projects, and professional development.
After completion of the Rockwell EIT program, you would be placed at one of our manufacturing facilities in an Electrical Engineering role to continue your learning and development. Electrical Engineer roles will research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Mechanical Engineer roles will research, plan, design, develop, and implement/install mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines, and mechanical transmission, thermal, hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production related equipment.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience with CAD applications
Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing setting
3.0 GPA
Availability for January 2025 cohort start
