Responsibilities
- Manage production schedules to meet orders efficiently
- Reduce waste and control costs while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Coach and mentor associates for professional growth
- Foster a culture of safety and teamwork
- Communicate performance expectations and provide recognition and support
- Ensure a safe work environment through compliance with safety protocols and regular meetings
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs, recommending improvements
- Maintain accurate production records and report to management
- Identify staffing needs and arrange for temporary or regular labor
- Participate in inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards
- Stay updated on manufacturing technologies and systems
- Approve employee payroll time
- Support other business objectives as directed by the Production Manager
- High School diploma required; college degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Package or Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a teams of hourly associates
- Effective communication, leadership, and analytical skills
- Accountability, consistency, and follow-through abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with personnel at all levels
- Experience in pastry or bread manufacturing
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of SAP
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
