Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic
Location: 2473 W. 2950 N., Salt Lake City, UT 84116 (On-site)
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 40 hours per week

Bridor North America is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic for our brand-new industrial bakery in Salt Lake City. These newly created positions offer a unique opportunity to work on state-of-the-art production equipment and help shape operations from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production and facility systems
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
Install, modify, and repair equipment to ensure operational efficiency
Follow all food safety, GMP, and safety regulations
Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS
Assist with equipment changeovers, setups, and calibrations
Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies
Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including experience with PLCs and VFDs (basic electrical troubleshooting a plus)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, OSHA, FDA, DEP, EPA, and TCPA regulations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Other Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance experience (food industry preferred)
Good decision-making, initiative, and organizational skills
Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office
Must be able to understand, speak, and write English
