Job Summary
The Marketing and Trade Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the US Brigade, Inc. in all marketing activities and administration to execute the marketing plans in line with strategic corporate direction.
This includes creating organizing and attending trade events, creating marketing collateral and responding to customer requests for marketing support.
This person will be working closely with the sales team, major distribution partners, industry associations, lobby groups, external agencies and journalists, as well as internal departments.
Responsibilities
- Assist Marketing Services Manager in the development, delivery, and execution of national marketing strategies as an integral part of the company’s business plan, in partnership with Brigade Group (UK).
- Work as a customer advocate to ensure customer success.
- Target market by customer segmentation i.e. end user, OEM, IES, BSP and distributor.
- To manage marketing activities, including but not limited to:
- Contracts, scheduling, planning, and delivery of stands at national exhibitions, plus other events as required.
- Assist Marketing Services Manager in development and release of videos, PowerPoint presentation, and other sales tools.
- Advertising – work with Marketing Services Manager to ensure delivery of print advertising in line with agreed schedule.
- Email program – regular, planned email-shots promoting Brigade products and activity.
- Social Media – assist Marketing Services Manager in creating and posting videos and announcements to our Social Media platforms.
- Ensure and manage the corporate image of Brigade Electronics, Inc. at all times.
- Manage external marketing agencies as required.
- Support external sales team to ensure they have the tools available to uphold Brigade’s corporate identity.
- Have a flexible approach to work across different projects at any one time.
- Ability to plan and take initiative to organize and prioritize own workload.
- To work beyond business hours during US Trade Show attendance.
- Travel 35% of the time for trade events– high travel times are generally February-May and August – October.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years previous marketing experience.
- Must have proven writing skills.
- Must have exceptional organizational skills.
- Able to demonstrate strong coordination skills.
- Attention to detail is critical.
- Natural creative ability.
- Able to multitask effectively.
Pay: $19.23 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
