What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Educator position at Bright Beginnings Child Development Center?
Bright Beginnings Child Development Center is now hiring dynamic and fun Lead Teachers for our School age, Preschool, Toddler, and Infant classrooms in Smith Center, KS. We are also offering positions for assistant teachers and part-time cooks. We are looking for team members who are consistent in attendance and in executing job responsibilities.

Teaching children basic skills and teaching them valuable life skills such as:
- Communication
- Working with others
- Relationship building
- Creativity
- Ingenuity
- Emotional development
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years if age or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Lead teachers must have some experience teaching children in a professional, volunteer or faith-based setting. (If you don't have this experience, let us help you get it!)
All child care employees are required to pass a background check, have a negative TB test and other requirements. Lead Teachers must pass a health assessment, become Pediatric CPR certified, and pass other requirements. Training and certification time and costs are covered by Bright Beginnings.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
