Bright Futures Enrichment Center LLC is now hiring a experienced Assistant Teacher!
Hours needed:
Monday- Friday 6:00am-3:30pm
Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lessons for preschool children.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Provide guidance and support to children in their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Foster a love for learning through engaging and interactive teaching methods.
- Incorporate math concepts into daily activities and lessons to promote early numeracy skills.
- Ensure the well-being and welfare of all children in the daycare setting.
- Encourage physical activity and coordinate physical education activities for preschoolers.
- Provide individualized tutoring or support to children who may need additional assistance.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; NC credentials or EDU119in early childhood education is preferred.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with young children.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a Must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
