What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Architect position at Bright Horizons Children's Centers?
The senior ID & AM architect is a technical authority on both Azure cloud and on-premises-based applications and is responsible for ensuring the successful design and implementation of the Bright Horizon identity platform for our customers. She/He will translate business needs and insights into an actionable strategy and assist stakeholders in driving their initiatives to result in high business value.
Essential Functions/ResponsibilitiesReview and lead the gathering of business, functional, and technical requirements for establishing an Identity platform powered for our customers.
Work with customers to document specific solutions' common technical and functional requirements.
Support the creation of project plans to develop and implement the proposed solution.
Participate as a member of the professional services delivery team member to translate requirements to designs and provide technical leadership and oversight.
Education
Bachelor's Degreeis required.
Experience
10 years of overall software development experience, solution design, and technical architecture experienceis required
5 years driving application architecture design
5 years of experience with (IAM) architectures
3 years of experience implementing cloud computing solutions such as Azure and AWS.

3 years of experience with implementing cloud computing solutions such as Azure and AWS.
Experience with customer identity use cases for B2C and B2B: user registration, multifactor authentication, SSO, delegated administration, and social identities.
5 years of cloud directory services (Azure AD, Ping, Okta, SecureAuth )
Professional certifications such as CIAM, ITIL, or other relevant industry certifications are preferred
Strong knowledge of Security Architecture, Design and Operations, LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, SSO, RBAC, OAuth, OIDC, web protocols XML, SOAP, JSON, REST
Proficiency in the following areas: .Net, JavaScript, Angular.
Familiarity with IAM solution providers is strongly desired.
Experience integrating with a multitude of On-Prem and SaaS-based products.
Excellent people and project management skills
Experience in leading discovery workshops to derive customer requirements, specifications, and business processes.
Experience in developing functional specifications and system design specifications for customer engagements.
Exhibits confidence and a deep understanding of emerging industry practices when solving business problems.
Identifies critical issues with ease.
Effectively communicates technical information to non-technical audiences.
Application Architecture Background and Architected Distributed Systems
Knowledge of software development security and cryptography.
Consultative to lead a customer and drive business questions.
