Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
Bright Power’s Energy Management Services division aims to reduce operations cost, consumption, and increase comfort in our clients’ buildings. Our main service product, MoBIUS, is a combination of remotely monitoring utilities and systems, facilities management, continuous commissioning, and technical support. We’re seeking a mid-level engineer with strengths in the building audit process, energy and mechanical systems, monitoring/controls technologies, and project and client management.

The Role & Responsibilities
For this role, our candidate will perform the following tasks:
- Reports to the Director, Energy Management Services.
- Manages multiple clients, communicating with all tiers of their organization, ensuring projects stay on budget and achieve savings targets.
- Critically analyzes and reviews various building systems types, including but not limited to: HVAC systems, cooling systems, and central heating plants.
- Remotely monitors building systems using SkySpark
- Understands the building operations for each client and identify and maintains improvement lists to increase efficiency and extend equipment life.
- Calculates energy savings associated with recommended or completed repairs • Prepares and reviews external reports for clients quarterly
- Schedules and attends client meetings
- Performs on-going commissioning for building equipment
- Updates and manages building systems manuals (sequence of operations, equipment inventory, and seasonal procedures) to contain accurate and helpful information for onsite staff
- Provides on-site training to maintenance and facilities staff
- Communicates technical repair needs and recommendations to various stakeholders • Ensures high-quality service delivery within project budgets and timelines.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Understanding of building science and mechanical systems, with emphasis on Northeastern-Region multifamily and commercial systems.
- Ability to accurately and efficiently track and record data and set points from building systems.
- Ability to compile and analyze data to quickly draw useful questions and conclusions. • Highly effective communication skills for different audiences.
- Provide strong client-support skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge of Audit and/or Capital Needs Assessment experience. • Real-estate operations experience.
- Working knowledge or understanding of SkySpark platform (or equal). • Working knowledge or understanding of Smartsheets and Salesforce • Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
