Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and lesson plans
- Provide support to students with special needs, including behavior management and individualized instruction
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children during classroom activities and outdoor playtime
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom management, including maintaining order and discipline
- Help prepare materials and resources for classroom activities
- Support students in their social and emotional development
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
Skills:
- Experience in childcare or babysitting, preferably in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Familiarity with special education practices and techniques
- First aid certification is a plus
- Ability to educate and engage young children in learning activities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members
