We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Infant/Toddler Head Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, a deep understanding of child development, and a commitment to providing exceptional care and education for our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate curriculum that addresses the cognitive, emotional, social, and physical needs of infants and toddlers.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the individual needs of each child and encourages exploration, discovery, and learning.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure a high-quality learning environment.
- Regularly assess and document each child's growth and development using a variety of assessment tools and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with families, providing regular updates on their child's development and progress, and addressing any concerns or questions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members, sharing ideas, resources, and best practices to promote a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines, as well as our policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field or 5 year of experience working in daycare.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a classroom setting.
- Strong understanding of child development, early childhood education principles, and age-appropriate learning activities for infants and toddlers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families, and staff.
- Ability to plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with school guidelines.
- Recent Graduates are welcome and teaching experience in an early education setting is preferred
