We are looking for 10 full-time Generator Technicians - roles that are central to the assembly, testing, servicing, and quality assurance of generator systems and associated components. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and service rotor components, including excitation leads, windings, wedging, pressing, hoop installation, and rotor repairs
- Complete stator activities such as phase marking, coil insertion, wedging, soldering, insulation, electrical installation, and assembly of outlet cables
- Produce and assemble electrical and mechanical connections, including Teflon hoses, RTD elements, and exciter windings
- Support packaging and shipping of finished goods in line with specified requirements
- Sort, mark, and label products according to production standards
- Fold, store, and manage packaging materials including boxes, crates, pallets, and protective materials
- Operate and perform basic maintenance on packaging machines and lines
- Conduct required audits and provide product and quality system support to global channel partners
Who We’re Looking For
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on quality
- Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally
- Clear communication skills and an inclusive, collaborative working style
- High school diploma, GED, or vocational qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline
- Experience in mechanical assembly with basic electrical training or exposure
- Knowledge of power generation or rotating equipment is beneficial but not essential
Location and Package
- Location: Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania, USA
- Working pattern: Two shift schedule, including rotational night shifts
- Training: Six weeks of comprehensive training in the Czech Republic, with travel for approximately two weeks per month over a three month period
- Salary: $65,000 to $85,000 base salary, depending on experience
