We are actively seeking skilled Workers' Compensation Defense Attorneys to join a growing legal team that values collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. This opportunity offers an engaging and largely remote work setup with occasional in-office requirements for meetings or training. The team is committed to delivering high-quality legal defense services to a diverse clientele in the workers' compensation space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation defense matters from start to resolution
- Conduct discovery, depositions, and trials with professionalism and strategy
- Maintain regular communication with insurance carriers, employers, and TPAs
- Utilize strong case management skills to move matters forward proactively
- Uphold a high standard of ethics and professionalism
Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor and active membership in the California State Bar
- 3 years of workers' compensation experience (defense preferred; plaintiff/applicant experience considered)
- Note: LA office is open to candidates with less than 3 years of experience
- Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and case milestones
