What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wellness Partner position at Brio Living Services?
Overview:
What you’ll do:
- Facilitate regularly occurring events, such as art and musical opportunities.
- Attend trips with Residents.
- Suggests new opportunities for programming.
- Inventory supplies and ensure they are readily available for use.
- Assists with major events.
- Make routine visits to residents and participate in actively engaging the resident 1:1 as necessary.
- Perform documentation duties as necessary.
- Assist in planning, organizing and scheduling community events related to residents' interests.
What it takes:
- Relevant computer experience required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Education and/or experience in the aging process and health promotion preferred.
- Two (2) years' experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years, in an activities program in a health care setting, preferred.
- Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to a minimum of 50 pounds.
