Instructor Job Summary:
Trade School located in Long Island seeking licensed Cosmetologists interested in teaching Esthetics.
Esthetic Instructor Qualifications:
Qualifications include a valid NY State Esthetics License, a minimum of 3-5 years' experience working as an Esthetician, a HS Diploma or GED and an enthusiastic attitude with good communication skills. Previous teaching experience isn't necessary but is a bonus if you have.

This position also requires an excellent presentation, listening and conflict-resolution skills; strong planning, organization and administrative capabilities; and the ability to demonstrate technical concepts with 100% accuracy. As a New York state-licensed and Nationally accredited school, instructors are required to have the appropriate background to be initially licensed by the State of New York. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in skin care techniques, including facials, body treatments, makeup, waxing, etc.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages adult education and conflict management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in esthetics.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and safety standards.
