What are the responsibilities and job description for the MACHINE BUILDER-MECHANICAL position at Broaching Machine Specialties?
Family-owned machine tool manufacturing company, in business since 1936, is looking for a motivated, career minded person, with or without machine building experience, to join our team.
Individuals without previous experience as machine builders, must be mechanically inclined (i.e., home auto mechanic), have knowledge of hand tools and be willing to learn. Applicants must be willing and able to provide exceptional customer service, do whatever it takes to get the job done, have a positive attitude, be detailed orientated and be team players. Must have industry relevant tools and reliable transportation. Experience operating an overhead crane and forklift is a plus.
You will learn every aspect of our machine tool manufacturing business including machine disassembly and cleaning, machine assembly and tooling set-up, machine operation, in-field service and repair and machine rigging.
Average tenure of our team members is 20 years, and we have several employees that have been with us for over 30 years! Hours: Monday thru Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm with overtime as needed.
