Responsibilities
- Know about all beers, wines and beverages being served
- Understand flavor profiles of food and beer that pair.
- Educate our customers and assist with beer and food menu selections
- Love to interact with customers and ensure our customers have the best possible experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing work environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the bar and dining area
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
Other Requirements
- A minimum 2 years practical, professional taproom experience
- Open and close according to Broad Brook Brewing procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot draft equipment, move and change kegs as necessary
- Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, push, pull and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 60 lbs
