Overview
The Internal Communications Coordinator will be responsible for planning, drafting, and executing internal communications across the organization. This role requires strong writing skills, organizational discipline, and the ability to manage communications independently in a fast-paced corporate environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in translating information into clear, engaging internal messages for diverse audiences, including employees, managers, and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and distribute internal communications (emails, announcements, updates, campaigns)
- Coordinate internal messaging with leadership, HR, Operations, and other departments
- Ensure consistency in tone, clarity, and timing across all internal communications
- Manage internal communications calendars and deadlines
- Gather information from stakeholders and translate it into concise, actionable messages
- Track communication deliverables and ensure follow-through
- Support internal engagement initiatives through clear and timely messaging
- Maintain documentation, templates, and communication standard
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a similar role
- Proactive mindset and independence
- Strong written communication skills in a professional/corporate setting
- Experience managing communications independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to adapt messaging to different audiences and leadership levels
- Comfortable working with deadlines and multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
- Experience in corporate or multi-department organizations
- Familiarity with internal comms tools (email platforms, intranet, collaboration tools)
- Experience coordinating communications for organizational changes or initiatives
- Able to work with Canva or adobe illustrator, Power point
