- Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care to clients based on their individual needs and care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed
- Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the appropriate supervisor
- Experience:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to demonstrate a compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients
