Full-time Opportunity
Ambulatory Surgical Center is in search of an OR Nurse that wants to be clinically challenged and fulfill their desire to provide quality health care to a diverse patient population.
Our Ambulatory Surgical Center has provided a facility for more than 50 Surgeons to perform Ophthalmic and GI procedures for the past 30 years. The facility contains 3 Operating Rooms that can support a combined total of 50 to 60 procedures in a typical day.
The success and longevity of this ASC is a direct result of the skilled and dedicated staff that have been hand-picked to fulfill all the clinical needs for successful surgery outcome. Along with other skilled team members, our RNs possess a high degree of patience and a caring attitude, which is the core of a skilled and dedicated nurse.
Key Requirements of this Position:
- Flexibility to function in a circular role effectively delivering perioperative care to our surgical patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation
- Desire to put in a hard day’s work and feel fulfilled with the medical care that you provided your patients.
- Effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (including Surgeons & Anesthesiologists) in coordinating the plan of care and facilitation of patient outcomes
- Possess critical thinking to problem solve, advocate and deliver the highest quality of care for your patients
- Follow proper infection control and safety practices in the performance of all duties

Salary: $53.00 - $65.00 per hour

Qualifications
- Two (2) years of clinical experience in an Operating Room required
- Current licensure in the State of New York as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- Child Abuse and Infection Control Certification Required
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification is a plus
- Multi specialty ASC - focus on Ophthalmology and GI a plus
- Flexible shifts 4 days/10 hours or 5 days/8 hours Monday - Friday
- Flexibility to work Sundays (rotating)
Salary : $53 - $65
