Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting in the administration and coordination of the F&O Preventative Maintenance (PM) program per DOE Order 430.1C, Real Property Asset Management. This includes entering, modifying, and maintaining a computerized preventive maintenance program.
Establishing and maintaining the inventory of facility and operating plant equipment.
Data collection and analysis of preventative maintenance services performed and the development of specifications and protocols within the Computerized Maintenance Management System Database for future maintenance services.
Distributes preventive maintenance work orders to respective shops and monitors compliance with Department of Energy (DOE) orders.
Attends Occupancy Readiness Reviews, identifies equipment for inventory, and prepares facility deficiency reports.
Setup and field delivery of Mobile Maximo, a mobile Work Order Tracking System, for the F&O craft shops.
Under minimum supervision, reviews feedback from the field and revises PM Job Plans.
Identify opportunities to improve process, planning or performance through analysis of work order flow, project demands and stakeholder expectations.
Supports special projects and assignments as needed.
Report on the status of F&O regulatory driven work to management.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education and Experience Years:
High school diploma or equivalent plus 10 years' relevant work experience, OR
Bachelor's degree in a technical field plus 4 years' relevant work experience, OR
A technical institute or Adult BOCES certification, or associate degree in a technical field, or Brookhaven Lab CCI program completion plus 8 years' relevant work experience, OR
A technical high school certification program (eg., BOCES) plus 9 years' relevant work experience
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and architectural disciplines.
Specialized training in a Computerized Maintenance Management System Program, recycling requirements, and other Predictive and Proactive Maintenance Software Programs.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with Maximo Version 7.6
Report Design Experience using Office/MS Access
Experience with Cognos Report Writer
Predictive/Proactive Maintenance Training
